Our story

Who knew that having your first darling daughter could change everything? The push-pull feeling of having to work again when all you want to do is fly bunnies through the sky, get giddy when you hear “mama”, and practice putting blocks in the right shape sorter.

I’m Amy, first-time Mum and wife to be! I used to work insane hours and constantly wanted to be on the go. Now, I want to create, share, engage, and put a healthy amount of hours into sharing the best children’s products with you.

I’ve teamed up with incredible illustrators, sourced extra special children’s products, and I’m writing blogs and taking photos of new bits as we speak.

If you love a bit of magic, messy play, and beautiful gifts, then Matcha Melon is for you. Oh, and the name? I’m Matcha mad and the colour is beautiful too. Lots of products are very foodie led and my creative agency is also called Matcha Agency. I’ll still be continuing with bold web design and social strategy full-time (alongside Matcha Melon) as it’s my bread and butter! However, it’s time for a new, playful (hopefully better rested) journey. Except for the chaos that comes with parenthood!
